Antioch

Marianne S. Parker is a native of Bridgeton, NJ. She currently resides in Deptford with her husband, the Rev. John O. Parker, who is the Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church here in Camden.

She has been a Pastor's wife for almost twenty years. Her six children were raised in Antioch Baptist Church as well. In her church she has served as a teacher for the adult women's Sunday School class for many years. She has served as the office manager at Antioch Baptist Church for seven years and as director of Christian Education for the past few years. She teaches Bible Study at Antioch. She has studied and taught various classes for over thirty years. She has been a child of God for over forty years.

She gives workshops and seminars at various churches in the area. Her first love in the ministry is teaching. She has a A.A. degree in Business from Cumberland County College, a diploma in Biblical Studies from Liberty University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Religion from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She is a wife, a mother, and grandmother of 11.

Her favorite Bible verse is Colossians 3:16: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
